I started having guests in my home in 2005. It was a unique experience for me coming from the USA where people tend to like their privacy. I love opening my home to complete strangers in hopes that we become friends, and to show them my Buenos Aires.
I have met people from all over the world. Some come to dance Argentine Tango. Some come to tour Argentina and Buenos Aires is a city on their itinierary. Others come for business. I offer people a clean and comfortable place to stay in one of the nicest barrios in Buenos Aires. Palermo is on the north end of the city, loaded with cafes, restaurants, trendy boutiques, and museums.
When you stay with me you have a more local experience than staying in a hotel. It might get a bit lonely staying in an apartment by yourself or a bit inpersonal in a hotel. I offer something in between You get a lovely place to stay with a person whom you can turn to if you need help or just want to talk to about your day. I can help you plan your days, recomend sites to see, places to go, restaurants, shops.
I rent 1 bedroom in my 100 sq mtr apartment. (1000 sq ft). The bedroom has a double bed that is suitable for 1 person or a couple. There is a dresser and large closet with plenty of hangers. I have tried to think of everything to make your visit pleasant, incuding good sheets, and lots of blankets. The room is climate controlled with your own personal remote for heating and air conditioning. There is a laptop computer for your use as well as a local cell phone.
You have the common bathroom to yourself. I supply good quality towels, soap, and a hair dryer. You are welcome to use the kitchen, which has includes a microwave and toaster oven as well as a stove and refrigerator. The living room has a television with cable and stereo system. The apartment is wired for WiFi.
It is wonderful sit on the balcony of the 17th floor and gaze out over the city. You can see Montevideo on the other side of the river on a clear day. Whether you decide to take your breakfast here or want to relax after a long day of site seeing, you will feel at home.
My apartment is non-smoking. I do not allow smoking in any part of the apartment. I also live with with a small dog and a cat. Both of them love having guests. I sometimes wonder if they are the innkeepers and not me. All of all would love to have you come stay with us..Deby, Maximiliana, and JerryBrown the Cat.
